This is easy. Lock everything up at night that can be locked up. Make a clear "no borrowing" rule, and enforce it. It's hard to be mean to the people you work with, but you have to be if you want it to stop. Make it clear unauthorized borrowing is stealing and that theft is not tolerated.

It's real easy to find the culprit and I've had to right my name on every thing I buy. It's ridiculous but when I'm not there I gave a note pad that I ask them to right down what they use and I bill them at the end of the month. They pay. I don't accept "ill split the next box of foils" I accept cash JUST like my beauty supplier does. The end.

I have cameras in the salon and tell everyone to lock their cabinets. I was a booth renter before I opened my salon so I have had many stuff stolen and broken, cameras and locks makes it easy :)

Just as the solar eclipse made its way over Austin, the Kenra Professional team took the BTC stage for their sixth year in a row. And, as one of the only teams to be with us since the beginning, they made the stage their own and hit us with bomb color tips and celeb-worthy upstyles. Laken Rose, @hairandmakeupbysteph, Cassie Siskovic and David Lopez talked the importance of products, getting creative without always having to prelighten and perfecting your styling skills. #behindthechair #thebtcshow

Joico brought together haircoloring masters Vivienne Mackinder and Mark Minetti and social media stars @stylistricardosantiago, @philipring and @larisadoll for a presentation overflowing with color. So many models. So many formulas (which will all be up on behindthechair.com later this week!). So much education. First, Vivienne, Ricardo and Mark shared tips on how to complement different face shapes and use haircolor to contour. Ricardo shared his favorite rose gold formula (which he says is still his most-requested color in the salon) and Mark demoed an amazing peachy blonde. Then, Larisa and Phil shared a new color technique they’ve been working on for three months JUST for our show! #behindthechair #thebtcshow
