FreeSalonEducation.com By Gratitude Salon Education
Matt Beck, founder of Gratitude Salon Education is excited to invite all stylists and future stylists to Freesaloneducation.com! Now more than ever Matt and his team at Gratitude Salon Education are showcasing their passion for education and for the salon industry by offering an on-line learning network at no charge.
"A teacher of mine handed down videos to me in beauty school. The knowledge I had gained for free was amazing! The many artists and teachings in those videos inspired me to further my career and become an educator" says Beck.
Now, almost ten years later, Matt has launched Freesaloneducation.com. A site dedicated to providing the highest quality step by step education on a weekly basis for anyone who wants to log in, be inspired, and learn! Stylists can expect education on cutting, coloring, styling, barbering, and business tips. You can also look forward to totally free educational videos sent by email and live web classes broadcast from in the salon. This truly is a great affordable (obviously) investment that stylists can use to study at their own pace and convenience.

Matt I learned from your video..you explained it so good..I got it!!....I actually was giving up hope on learning the fades and getting out the lines..it has been 4 years and no one to help me or care enough..I was let go at a franchise in one day because my fades where not too good you could see the lines and they didn't offer me education like they advertise..I was bummed out..this was last week..anyway I was just going through my Facebook and I saw your video I watched it NAND you used a 3 1/2 and tan worked down to the 2 in the clipper.when you said you start out with a medium length it made sense..because I always start out with a short cut and work my way up..it made sense to see the medium length and work your way down..I got it!!...thank you sooooo much I have another interview and I have more. Confidence on my practical when I go..thank you..I want to take your classes when your in phx..you gave me hope and made me love my career again..I was running away to do my skincare which I do but not full time I want to balance hair and skin.thanks your an angel

・・・ BLACK TO BLONDE: The Color Journey .. . What is your BEAUTY BUDGET?
After a quick survey across the states, based on our current beauty market, it is fair to say that it takes time and money to complete a corrective color process.
The chart above displays the hair color-lifting process, the time it requires, and the very reasonable AVERAGE price per hour/session. (This will vary depending on demographic and level of experience)
This is an INVESTMENT that’s worth every penny.. Clients as well as colorists should be 100% aware of what it takes to go on a "Color Journey". Take your time and enjoy the "view" (stages) and take lots of pictures along the way.

#BTCMORNINGQUICKIE! ... Razor CUTTING w/ Shears by #THEBTCTEAM's @brianacisneros!
I started cutting hair when I was just 11 years old! My dad got his start as a pencil artist for marvel comics and has worked as a very successful artist my whole life. I owe a lot more than just my career to him. My technical came later, after I turned 18. That's when I became addicted to education! I love learning every different way there is to do hair! I still always tap into my original artistic approach... sculpting the hair until it responds the way that I want it to. It's not about the hair you cut off but rather the hair that you leave on the head. This video is obviously in fast motion so what you cannot see is how I am opening and closing my shears to get the softest effect with out any damage to the hair. Here is just one example of my "Razor cut" using my shears.
